Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until smooth; cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together melted chocolate mixture and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually mix into the chocolate batter until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. For the mint swirl, mix powdered sugar, milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring until smooth.
  7. Spread mint mixture over cooled brownies; use a knife to create swirls.
