Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 pound baby potatoes (halved)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil halved potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak bites with salt and pepper, then sear until browned on all sides (4-5 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add drained potatoes to the skillet and sauté until golden brown (5-7 minutes), adding optional herbs/spices as desired.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and combine with potatoes; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
