Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Add chicken to the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat; remove chicken from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- In a small saucepan, bring remaining marinade to a simmer; mix cornstarch with water and stir into sauce until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
- Pour the thickened sauce over cooked chicken in the skillet; toss to coat.
