- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- ¾ cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla extract, lime zest, and lime juice; mix well.
- Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in strawberries and white chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are set but center remains slightly gooey.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
