  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water; set aside to cool.
  2. Crush pretzels in a Ziploc bag until coarse crumbs form. In a saucepan, melt butter and combine with sugar and crushed pretzels.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 13×9 casserole dish; bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese with sugar until fluffy; fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  5. Stir sliced strawberries into cooled Jell-O, then pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until set.
