- 400g strawberries
- 300g raspberries
- 300g cherries
- 250g Madeira cake
- Strawberry jam
- 500g Tesco Finest Cornish Custard
- 300ml double cream
Instructions
- Prepare the fruit by hulling and slicing strawberries, sprinkling them with icing sugar. Mix in raspberries and pitted cherries.
- Cut Madeira cake into slices, spread with strawberry jam, and cube.
- In a trifle bowl, layer cake cubes at the base. Optionally drizzle with berry liqueur.
- Spoon the fruit mixture over the cake layer, followed by pouring custard to fill gaps.
- Whip double cream until fluffy and layer it on top before chilling.
