  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup tamarind paste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, season chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken in a single layer and cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet; set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, combine tamarind paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced ginger. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; toss in the sauce until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
