  • ¼ cup masa harina
  • 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes with juice

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced garlic and tomato sauce; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, and cayenne pepper; reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Combine masa harina with water in a small bowl; add to the chili to adjust consistency as needed.
  5. Stir in drained kidney and pinto beans; simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
