- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 teaspoons red chili flakes
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Green onions and cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, lime juice, and honey. Add chicken pieces and ensure they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for maximum flavor).
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and charred. Pour remaining marinade into the skillet to create a glaze.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with pan sauce, chopped green onions, and cilantro before serving.
