- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cinnamon sugar coating: 1/4 cup granulated sugar + 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Apple cider glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar + 2 tablespoons reduced apple cider
Instructions
- In a saucepan, reduce apple cider over medium heat until it reaches about 1/4 cup; let cool.
- Whisk together cinnamon and sugar for the coating.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Stir in cooled apple cider.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl; gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough into balls, coat in cinnamon sugar, and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden; cool before glazing.
