- 1 cup apple cider

- ¼ cup turbinado sugar (for rolling)
- ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons reduced apple cider (for glaze)
Instructions
- Reduce apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until only about ¼ cup remains; cool completely.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in one bowl; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture; stir in the reduced apple cider.
- Chill dough for at least an hour. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll dough into balls, coat in turbinado sugar, and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden; let cool before glazing.
