- 4 medium sweet potatoes

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and slice sweet potatoes into thick rounds (1-1.5 inches).
- In a cast-iron skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté sweet potato rounds until lightly browned (3-4 minutes).
- Pour in broth, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and optional cinnamon until covering sweet potatoes halfway.
- Roast in the oven for 35-45 minutes, turning halfway through until tender.
- Let rest, then drizzle remaining liquid over before serving.
