  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Combine pumpkin puree and milk in a small bowl; add to the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead lightly and shape into an 8-inch round about 3/4-inch thick.
  6. Cut into 8 wedges and place them on the baking sheet.
