- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in softened butter until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in pecans and pour the filling over the warm crust.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until set and bubbly.
- Cool completely before lifting out of the pan and cutting into bars.
