Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 1-inch strips.
- Twist each strip and arrange in a circular crown shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- In a saucepan, simmer heavy cream, then remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Once cooled, pour the chocolate filling into the crown center and dust with powdered sugar.
