  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 package (17.3 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Sauté chopped onion in olive oil until translucent. Add minced garlic and spinach; cook until wilted.
  2. In a bowl, mix cooked spinach with ricotta, feta, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on each pastry piece; fold and seal edges with a fork. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  5. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
