Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 12 ounces green candy melts
  • 24 small candy eyeballs
  • 1/4 cup black sprinkles
  • 1 tube black gel icing

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a large pot, melt unsalted butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the crisp rice cereal until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan and let cool completely (30 minutes at room temperature or 15 minutes in the fridge).
  5. Lift treats out using parchment overhang and cut into 12 bars.
  6. Melt green candy melts in intervals until smooth; dip or spread on top of each treat.
  7. Place two candy eyeballs on each bar and sprinkle black sprinkles along the top edge for hair.
  8. Use black gel icing to create smiles and stitch marks on Frankenstein’s face.
  9. Allow to set completely for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
